The Social determinants of health (SDOH) are the conditions in the places where people live, learn, work, and play and that affect a wide range of health risks and outcomes. The Center for Disease Control Healthy People 2030 uses a place-based framework that outlines five key areas of SDOH.  These include: Health Care Access and Quality, Education Access and Quality, Social and Community Context, Economic Stability and the Neighborhood where we live, and the built environment of that neighborhood.

Over the past 10 years, United Latino Voices has supported and advocated for projects that promote equitable health, education, and economic development as our priority goals, believing that these factors are the cornerstone to better lives and outcomes for our Latinx community.

It is through strategic partnerships that we can improve education, health, and economic outcomes for our community.
