Project Adelante, a pilot social media outreach campaign funded by the Contra Costa Regional Health Foundation to promote COVID-19 recovery resources to assist the Latinx Community with the knowledge and trust in utilizing available health, education, financial and housing resources, and services in West, Central and East Contra Costa County. The social media outreach campaign aims to improve the quality of life of Latinx residents who have been so disproportionally impacted by the COVID pandemic. Social media is an outreach tool that is vital to the Latinx community if they are to recover from the COVID pandemic fully.

Purpose of Project ADELANTE?

• Before the end of January 2023, educate no less than 700 Latino families about health, education, and financial resources
• Why?  Impact of Covid, the Trump presidency, and the current economy
• Many Latinos are not aware and fear applying for services, programs, and benefits that could help their family
