An initiative for economic independence
The Latina Center tests small businesses for training and access to sources of support and equipment to support the success of women entrepreneurs.
We work with Latina women and their families to develop a business plan, make financial projections, evaluate the possibilities of their business and other local businesses, identify potential funding centers, prepare loan applications, and create strategic marketing tools. .
Since January 2013, 40 small businesses have been born from this program, with two basic teams:
Food-Catering: Typical food (tamales, pupusas, and other traditional foods), tropical food (sophisticated fruits and vegetables prepared with great style) and confectionery (cakes, sweets, and desserts).
Crafts: Crafts, clothing design, jewelry, weaving, embroidery, painting and natural products such as soaps and oils made with natural products.
