The second dose of the COVID Vaccine Booster is available to people aged 50 and older and those who are immunocompromised due to certain health conditions
Starting Wednesday, March 30.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has licensed second booster doses of Moderna or Pfizer vaccines for people in these groups after at least four months have passed since their first booster.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now recommends a second booster dose for:
People 50 years of age or older
People with moderate to severe immunodeficiency
